Chocolate & Almond Gluten Free Cake



Chocolate and nuts go together so incredibly well, so I just had to try a traybake with a difference.

Smooth dark chocolate and ground almonds create a soft and rich sponge like texture. Ground Almonds form a perfect base and slowly and delicately absorb the melted dark chocolate as it cooks in the oven.

Simply combined with sugar, butter and egg you will be taken to chocolate and nut heaven with each scrummy bite of this traybake.

I simply cannot believe how stupendously lovely this tray bake is; everyone who digs into a chunk cannot believe its Gluten free. I always wonder what experience people have had to say that, but for me the fact its Gluten free is just a bonus.

Partners well with a pot of English Breakfast Tea or a strong black coffee.
